RB26 Intake Manifold Titanium Stud Kit Installation Guide
Important detail please atleast read this section before skipping the install guide 😆
There are two lengths of Dowels used on the intake between.
- Throttle bodies and Base Manifold SHORT DOWELS
- Throttle bodies and Intake chamber LONG DOWELS
If these are mixed up you will have throttles that cannot seal on the base manifold correctly and will give idle control issues
Introduction:
This stud kit is designed to replace the factory hardware which secures the intake manifold and throttle bodies to the base manifold.

- Short Dowels - Between Throttle Bodies and Base Manifold
- Long Dowels - Between Intake Manifold & Throttle bodies
Installation Steps
Step 1: Lay out long studs & short studs as pictured below.
Step 2: Fit all the studs in the locations displayed in the images below, The studs only need a very lightly tightened with a 3mm allen key/wrench once they bottom out in the threads.
Step 3: Fit the short studs in the top row of the base manifold 
Step 3: Fit the long studs in the bottom row of the base manifold
Step 4: Layout your dowels, ensure you have
- 6 long dowels
- 6 short dowels
Step 5: Refit the short dowels the the bottom row of the base manifold where the longer studs were just fitted. Refit throttle bodies and gaskets etc
Step 6: Refit the long dowels to the throttle bodies, add your gasket and intake chamber, Titanium Washers and Nuts can now be tightened.
