Another adapted drive-by-wire pedal solution is in the books - the Nissan/Datsun S30 280Z. The first batch of five metal 3D printed stainless steel rods is scheduled for production, and once fabricated we'll post pictures and let everyone know when they're live.
How the 280Z version came about
Every adapted DBW pedal needs one thing we can't guess: real vehicle data. For the 280Z we reached out to Caden Martin, who we spotted on Instagram (@rbzed25) with his left-hand drive 280Z, and asked if he could help with 3D scan data of the pedal area. He came through with a really nice scan of his 280Z and sent us the STL file.

From that scan we modelled the rod geometry for both left-hand and right-hand drive configurations - so the same solution works for both sides.
Below in (dark blue) we have the new pedal pad that is supplied with the adapted DBW pedal unit overlaid with the original 280z pedal pad (light blue). Interestingly many older vehicles have must larger foot pads on accelerators pedals.
